JMD Industries, Inc. (JMD), an industry leader in high-quality, specialized electroplating and finishing services since 1977, today announced the appointment of Tom Groves as environment, health, and safety director. Tom will oversee environmental regulation compliance, staff training, and water treatment processes.

Tom’s oversight will allow us to maintain this commitment while continuing to provide the quality products our customers have come to expect from us.”

Groves most recently served as the director of environmental permitting and compliance at Vulcan Flex Circuit Corporation in Londonderry, New Hampshire, where he oversaw process engineering for all chemical-related operations. He is a licensed waste treatment operator and certified hazardous waste coordinator by the State of New Hampshire.

JMD is in the process of developing and implementing an environmental management compliance system that will exceed all industry standards for compliance and efficiency. Groves will oversee this new system, which features programs to ensure comprehensive training, compliance tracking, and continual compliance monitoring.

JMD also welcomes Bob Grant, who will serve as maintenance director and electrician. Grant will oversee the maintenance and OSHA Workplace Safety programs at JMD’s Hudson facilities. He brings a wealth of knowledge and skill with regard to industrial equipment and facility maintenance. Grant is a State of New Hampshire licensed Journeyman.
