We felt our paint shop was just not keeping up with our expectations when compared to our other finishes so we went to the drawing board. We needed to find a solution that was going to increase speed and capacity whilst not interrupting our already taxed paint department.

Jeff Chabot is a beyond-dedicated, end-goal oriented, leader at JMD Industries. From early 2019 into the summer of 2020, he led a team of 12 employees to achieve NADCAP accreditation for our company. Hopwood Globe to transition work to JMD

JMD Industries, Inc. is excited to announce it has established an agreement with Hopwood Globe Co., LLC. to provide Chromate (Chem Film) and Zinc services to Hopwood’s existing customers. JMD has several lines dedicated to these processes both with hand and hoist operations. In addition to this transition of services we can also confirm that Ms. Cindy Durgin, a long-time customer service representative at Hopwood, will be joining the Customer Service Team at JMD on March 1, 2021.

JMD Introduces New, State-of-the-Art Control Solutions Laboratory

As JMD Industries begins to develop into a top supplier of metal finishing, our staff and building continue to expand to accommodate the increase in quality. We are excited to announce that a great deal of renovations and advancements are continuing to occur throughout the company. In recent years, we have focused our efforts on expanding multiple aspects of our facility. For the first time in two decades, our Control Solutions Laboratory, located in the main building, has been completely revamped.

JMD Industries Attains AS9100 Accreditation

JMD Industries, a leading electroplating and metal finishing provider who specializes in Aerospace and Defense applications, has received its AS9100D certification from ISOQAR. AS9100D is the management-system standard for the design and manufacturing of Electronic and Aerospace products. JMD felt it important to get the certification for their Hudson, NH campus, where they deal directly with prominent manufacturers. AS9100 is an international standard with specific requirements for quality management systems. It focuses on a company’s ability to consistently provide product that meets statutory and regulatory requirements.

JMD Industries Shines in Multiple Environmental Inspections

HUDSON, NH – June 6, 2018 – JMD Industries, Inc. was recently inspected by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services at its two Hudson, NH facilities. The inspections, which occurred on March 29, 2018, resulted in zero findings. The significance of having not one, but two perfect audits in a single day, is worth noting. JMD joins a very short list of NH companies who have achieved this success, none of whom can claim having more than one facility inspected on a single day.

JMD Strengthens Environmental Health & Safety Protocols with New Hire

At JMD, our “hotword” throughout the last quarter has been “refinery.” In metallurgy (the domain of material science and engineering that studies the physical and chemical behavior of metallic elements), “refining” is the act of purifying an impure metal. Our department heads have each performed extensive analysis throughout the late-autumn to determine how we can purify the standards that our company has spent over 40 years proudly developing. While we worked long hours fine-tuning our facilities in anticipation of 2018, we felt one area that could use a boost is our overall effort to be as safe as possible for the workforce, the customer, and the environment.
